ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR NAIROBI FILM FESTIVAL SECOND EDITION

Supa Modo to Premier at Nairobi Film Festival 2018

The Nairobi film festival (NBO) is back for the second edition and will run from 27th March to 1st April 2018.

According to NBO organizers the second edition of the festival will bring together a splendid selection of Africa’s best films.  The Nairobi film festival was established with the aim of growing cinema going audiences in Nairobi by presenting notable films from around the world that are rarely presented in Nairobi through traditional distribution channels expanding Kenyan audiences’ appreciation on Kenyan made films through their presentation in a lively festival format.

“We are firmly committed to the notion films are best experienced with an audience – where you experience your own emotions as you watch the films but are also conscious of the reactions of those around you,” NBO says in its website.

Oscar award winning film Kati Kati and other international hits like NAIROBI HALF LIFE, CAHIER AFRICAN (German Film Award as Best Documentary 2017) and most recently GLOBAL FAMILY (Best Documentary Award Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis 2018) are some of the films lined up for screening at the NBO 2018.
