Bobi is now back in pain and he is dumped at Kirudu hospital. He has missed his flight and time is running out,” Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie said in a tweet.

Another legislator, Francis Zaake is also reported to have been with Bobi Wine was also detained.

Ugandan military and the police have reportedly cordoned off the government hospital where Bobi Wine is contained.

The Kyadondo East MP was arrested two weeks ago for allegedly inciting residents to stone President Museveni’s entourage during a campaign. He was later charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition at the military court in Gulu.

Bobi Wine had been in detention since then until 23rd August when the Government of Uganda dropped charges against him following protests across the country and mounting pressure across the borders.
