R&B LEGEND JAMES INGRAM DIES AT 66

James Ingram dies at 66

Iconic R&B singer James Ingram (66) has succumbed to brain cancer.

The two-time Grammy-award winner, whose voice made him one of the defining singers of R&B in the 1980s, will be remembered for soulful hits like “Just Once” and “I Don’t Have The Heart”.

Ingram received two Academy Awards nominations for two years in a row; 1994 and 1995 in the best original song category for “The Day I Fall In Love” and “Look What Love Has Done,” respectively.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debbie Robinson, and their six children.
