Kenyans across all walks of life have celebrated the life of the late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, with everyone commending Bob for his investment in changing the lives of people and the community at large.

Bob Collymore (61) has succumbed to cancer at his home on the morning of July 2019 after a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph has today been appointed the interim Chief Executive Officer at the telco giant with immediate effect.

Michael Joseph is a board member at Safaricom and the chairman of the Kenya Airways Board.
