7 killed in Hell’s gate park

Hell’s Gate National Park has been closed indefinitely after six tourists and a guide died over the weekend.

The team was out on an adventure spree when flash floods swept them away at the killer Ol-Jorowa gorge in the park.

Four bodies were  recovered on Sunday and a search in ongoing for the other three missing bodies.

It’s at this same gorge in Hell’s Gate where seven members of a the Pentecostal Church of East Africa (PCEA) were also killed after floods washed them away.

The Ol Jorwa gorge is also the location where the famed Hollywood’s film “Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” was shot.

Hell’s Gate Park was  established in 1984 and is located south of Lake Naivasha.
