The world is mourning the legendary Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday together with his daughter Gianna and seven other victims. The tragedy occurred in the hills of Calabasas, California.

The deceased were reportedly traveling to Kobe’s Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, California, where he was to coach Gianna’s school basketball team.

Among those dead is a family of three; Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, 56; John’s daughter Alyssa and wife Keri.

Since he retired from the National Basketball Association in 2016, Bryant had been coaching Gianna’s middle-school basketball team.
