Man Utd break transfer record re-signing Paul Pogba

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of former Juventus midfilder, Paul Pogba. The France international who has been subject to many speculations and being linked to various big clubs has re-signed for United after 4 years since he left.

Paul Pogba signed a five year contract on £290,ooo per week. His re-signing surpasses Wales forward Gareth Bale’s £85m move to Real Madrid from Spurs in 2013 as the biggest transfer deal in history. It will be the first time in 20 years an English club has paid a world-record fee – Alan Shearer’s move to Newcastle United from Blackburn Rovers for £15m was the last.

The 23-year-old midfielder said, “This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope to.” He is Mourinho’s fourth signing after he brought in Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly, former Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Armenia forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
