The latest ranking of Diani town as a top travel destination in Africa comes just a month after Diani beach was ranked seventh best in Africa by the same website. The ratings on Tripadvisor are derived from a star rating system given by the public, so the recent improvement indicates a growing satisfaction with the resort by its visitors.

Among the top activities Tripadvisor recommends that one can indulge in Diani beach include; dhow safaris, sky diving, camel rides, and surfing among others.
