Sport Pesa has earlier today unveiled the winner of the Mega Jackpot (Sh221, 301,602), Samuel Abisai in a red-carpet ceremony at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi.
The 28-year-old won the mega jackpot after correctly predicting all the 17 games. Abisai was picked from his home along Thika Road in Nairobi in a white Limousine and taken to Carnivore Restaurant.
According to Sport Pesa, Abisai placed only Sh200 on two mega jackpot “picks of Sh100 each.
“The consumer realised something monumental was in the offing soon after the French top-flight Ligue 1 clash between Dijon FCO and Bordeaux ended 0-0 as they had predicted,” the betting company said in a statement.
The bounty is one of the biggest payouts in African history and comes barely two months after two Kenyans shared a Ksh62 million jackpot.
Quinter Chemei Nimo and Julius Kerich shared Ksh31 million each after correctly predicting the outcome of 16 matches in the Mega Jackpot Games.
Sport betting has become so popular in the country and the latest win is bound to encourage more activity.
