BREAKING NEWS: ICC ADJOURN RUTO TRIAL OVER NAIROBI TERROR ATTACK

Judges at the International Criminal Court in The Hague have adjourned the trial against Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto for crimes against humanity allowing him to return home for one week so he can help deal with the terrorist attack on the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi.

Ruto’s lawyers filed a request Sunday evening, arguing that the deputy leader is needed at home to take part in security briefings and consultations.

Latest reports suggest at least 69 people have been killed in the Westgate Mall attack with 63 people still missing killed. Dozens were also wounded during an attack by Islamist militants on a Nairobi shopping mall that began Saturday.
