Raila Odinga and Martha Karua pull into the lead…
An opinion poll sponsored and conducted by Tifa with sampling taken on May 17, the day after the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition announced Martha Karua as Raila Odinga’s running mate, has the pair on 39 per cent of the projected vote compared to William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua (United Democratic Alliance) on 35 per cent.
The opinion poll was conducted by phone with 1,719 respondents across nine regions divided according to population. The margin of error is +/-2.34 per cent. ‘Will not vote’ (1%) and ‘No response’ (8%) not included in tables.
