Tanzanian billionaire, business mogul, author and philanthropist Reginald Mengi has died aged 75.
According to two local media outlets, ITV and Radio ONE, which are owned by Mengi, the billionaire died on Thursday morning in Dubai after a short illness.
Mr Mengi was also the chairman of Confederation of Tanzania Industries, IPP Gold Ltd.
Mengi leaves behind his young wife and Tanzania’s former beauty queen, Lynn Mengi and their twin boys.
Mengi is celebrated as a great philanthropist and mentor.
