The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has nominated high court judge Justice David Maraga as Kenya’s Chief Justice. If approved by President Uhuru Kenyatta and the National Assembly, Justice Maraga (65) will become the county’s second CJ under the dispensation of the new constitution and will assume office with immediate effect as announced by JSC.
