Emirates to Resume Sheduled Cargo Flights to Eldoret

Emirates Skycargo has announced  that the airline will be resuming its scheduled cargo flights to Eldoret International Airport.

The Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will serve the route twice a week, in addition to the airline’s passenger freight service to Nairobi.

According to Emirates Cargo Manager, East Africa, Mr Saeed Abdulla, the cargo flights will enable local business communities in the journey to economic recovery in the midst of the on-going pandemic.

“Emirates SkyCargo is fully committed to supporting Kenya. In April and May, we have supported trade to and from Kenya through our flights to Nairobi,” said Mr Abdalla.

Emirates SkyCargo , which is the airfreight division of emirates, is the largest international Cargo in the world .

In May, the airline said it would be able to provide up to 24 tonnes of additional cargo capacity by optimising complete loading of overhead bins and seats in its B777-300ER.

In the same month, Emirates SkyCargo started flying to seven African destinations including  Entebbe, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Eldoret, Cairo, Casablanca and Khartoum.
