Kenyans have taken to social media to give a backlash to the judiciary following an expose by NTV that revealed that the infamous quack doctor Mugo Wa Wairimu, who made headlines in 2015 after he was exposed for drugging and raping his clients was back in his filthy trade.

The NTV investigative story by Dennis Okari, which ran under the title, #QuackClinic revealed that Mugo Wa Wairimu was once again operating yet another clinic at Nairobi’s low-income Kayole estate years after he was charged with rape.

In the expose’ Mugo Wairimi is seen performing an evacuation on a young woman and he even leaves her on the table to interview a man who had come for a job interview. The quack doctor interviews the job seeker in the same room as the woman turns on the bed in pain.

Shockingly, Mugo Wairimu tasks the job seeker with the work of removing a placenta, he had been trying to remove from the woman’s uterus.

The quack doctor uses a mobile phone flashlight to get a view of the woman’s cervix and can even be seen kissing the patient.

Mugo Wairimu was arrested and charged in 2015 with various offenses linked to operating an illegal clinic in Githurai 44, Nairobi and raping a sedated woman but he was later released after being granted a Sh2 million bond with a surety of the same amount.

According to the prosecutor, on November 1, 2014, at Prestige Healthcare Clinic in Nairobi, Mugo raped the woman after giving her four tablets of an unknown drug.
