Fidel Odinga, the son of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has been found dead in his Karen home.

According to family sources he was found dead this morning after a night out with friends.

Earlier on Saturday Fidel Odinga is reported to have had lunch with his father at the former PM’s home.

Fidel was born in 1973 and was the first child to Raila and Ida Odinga. Fidel Odinga leaves behind his wife and a 2 year old son.

Police are still investigating the cause of death.

The Odinga family is expected to make a statement on the circumstances surrounding the death shortly.
