The latest opinion poll published in Kenya has the two main rivals neck-and-neck in the Presidential election race, with polling due on August 8th:
William Ruto 42%
Raila Odinga 42%
The winning candidate will require 50%+1 of the vote suggesting that the election will go to a second round.
The opinion poll was commissioned by The Nation Media Group and conducted by Infotrak Research & Consulting.
2,400 respondents, all registered to vote and over the age of 18, were surveyed across 47 counties on May 8th and 9th. The poll has a margin of error of+/-2%.
